In case you were unaware, The Good Life  is a full length novel coming soon featuring the characters from my popular short romance  The Bird Day Battalion.

I am aiming for a June 2014 release date. The paperback of The Good Life will contain both short stories as well, which will be the first time in print for those eBooks!

You can stay up to date by following this website (if you aren’t already!) and “liking” the Facebook page for the book.

In FACT, that brings me to the point of this post.

Everyone who likes the new Facebook page, or shares the new Facebook page on their wall, or reblogs this post to help spread the word about that shiny new cover I’m about to show you, all of you will be entered to win a postcard with a personalized greeting from me! On March 1st, I will draw 20 names and send you a Good Life postcard! (And yes, I’m happy to send postcards overseas.)

Here’s a very brief rundown of what you can expect in “The Good Life”:

Detective Kyle Anderson is a man of simple tastes and reasonably low expectations. Give him a steak, taters, and no homicides, and he’d call it a good day. When his sister Katelyn got engaged to his best friend Dominic Valentini, he’d figured the worst of the unnecessary drama in his life was over. But that was before Dom’s free-spirited, twig-eating, exasperating sister Demetria swooped in from Colorado and completely hijacked the planning of the wedding. Demi, ever the provocateur, decided it would be a good idea to invite Dom’s ex-wife Isabel to town for an extended visit, and now Kate is demanding that Kyle romance Isabel to keep her away from Dom. Kyle agrees to do it for two reasons; one, it irritates Demi, and two, Isabel is hotter than asphalt in July. Hardly a hardship. Now, if only he could get Demi-the-granola-flake off his back (and mind) long enough to do it…

And Dom, you might ask? Well, he just wants to marry the love of his life. First he has to figure out why Kate was acting so odd, why his ex-wife was all but stalking him, and most inexplicable of all, why his sister and best man couldn’t seem to keep their hands off each other.

In other words, just your typical day in Nebraska…
